Canuckle.net is a free word game. It has no accounts. This page explains the data it touches: game progress kept in your browser, an anonymous players counter, cookieless analytics, and the advertising partner that helps keep the game free. Last updated September 27, 2026.
Game progress on your device
Your current games, statistics, streaks and settings (hard mode, dark mode) are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data, or using the Reset stats button in Settings, erases them.
The players counter
When you solve a Daily or Celebrity puzzle, the game sends one anonymous request to a public counter service (abacus.jasoncameron.dev) so the "players solved today's word" number can go up by one. The request contains only the puzzle number. It does not include your name, your guesses, your result or any identifier. The service sees your IP address in the ordinary course of answering the request.
Analytics
We use a cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics script (analytics.xwm.app) that counts page views and approximate country. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not follow you to other sites.
Fonts and hosting
Fonts are served by Google Fonts and the site is delivered through Cloudflare. Both may log standard technical details (IP address, browser type, time of request) to deliver the files and protect the site. Our own server keeps short-lived access logs for the same reason.

Canuckle.net shows ads served by Ezoic Inc. and its partners. The mandated disclosure below comes from Ezoic; it lists what their advertising technology may collect and how to opt out.
